The Centre of Hydrogeology (University of Neuchâtel) and the Wathab-Unit of ICRC propose this 8-days intensive course to engineers/scientists dealing with Watsan issues in emergency situations. Focus is put on technical skills and awareness of public health issues, links between public health, water and sanitation in disaster-stricken populations. Instruction will essentially take the form of case studies based on real situations, practical field work and simulations.



Training Cost
1850.-CHF 8 days training, 8 lunches and 5 dinners
Intended Audience
The course is designed for engineers and scientists interested in a humanitarian engagement in the domain of water and sanitation. They must have a university or equivalent degree and be highly motivated. Prior experience in the domains of water supply, wastewater treatment, health and/or sanitation is welcome.
