Submission Guidelines
-
Full-length plays that have not had productions in the U.S. are preferred but one-acts will be considered. We are currently unable to consider musicals.
- All scripts must be submitted in English
- Due to the volume of plays we receive, one script submission per author will be considered; if more than one script is sent, neither will be considered.
- If your work was presented in hotINK 2009, we ask that you kindly wait until next year to submit a play.
- In addition to the play, all submissions must include:
-
contact information
-
a writing resume/CV
-
a brief synopsis of the play
-
a character list and brief description of roles
-
for U.S. playwrights: a submission reading fee of $10, payable by check or money order. Checks should be made out to TSOA Department of Drama. Should this fee present a hardship, please contact Festival Director Catherine Coray to request a waiver. cc19@nyu.edu
