The methods will be lectures, group works and lots of visits, personal meetings and excursions. Important dimensions will also be mediation and inter cultural communication to aquire skills for for peaceful conflict resolution for future etnic and cultural conflict on the Balkan.
AYP (Albanian Youth Parliament) will apply to the Youth in Action Program for the deadline of the February 1st 2009, activity project 3.1.
Youth from different SEE and Europe countries are meeting to strengthen mutual learning on democratic participation for youth. Important is to learn about democratic values and aquire skills for participatory actions. Youngsters will learn about the conflictual story of Balkans and especially part of Albanian history where the most important will be the terrible period of communist regime.
Networking
will be active during the visit and afterwards through emailing and a
small manual will be made to inspire for future activities based on
“best practices”. It will be a project trying to inspire cooperation in
Western Balkan by promoting as well core European values like:
democratic participation, human rights, gender eqaulity, intercultural
communication, peacefull co-excistence and environmental rights.
It'll be a lot of fun, trips, games and parties...
Cultural events will offer you the unique opportunity to explore the cultures of participating countries!
We expect partners from SEE countries and Program countries (members of EU)
Each one of them can send up to 4 participants (18 - 25 years old) + 1 leader (no age limit).
