The study visit aimes to improve the quality of future EVS projects by providing youth workers with new knowledge about EVS in general and in particular. Therefore, the study session will combine interactive workshops of non-formal education with meetings and visit to EVS actors and stakeholders in Germany.

Interlog e.V. andInternational Center for Intercultural Learning, Research and Dialogue are looking for partner organisations from EECA and Programme Countries for the study visit "See, Discover and Learn - Volunteering in Germany".
 
Aim:
The Study Visit “See, Discover and Learn – Volunteering in Germany” will be organised for youth workers from EU countries and from Eastern Europe and Caucasus.
The project aims to create several new EVS partnerships across Europe in order to contribute to active participation of young people and foster mutual understanding of people representing different cultures.
 
Objectives:
* To discover the EVS reality in Germany
* To provide youth workers with new knowledge about EVS and EVS reality
* To improve skills and abilities of youth workers in implementing EVS projects
* To create new EVS projects between Programme and EECA Partner Countries
* To exchange experience and “best practices”
* To get a best understanding of the concept of volunteering and especially of EVS
 
Content:
* Youth in Action Programme/ European Voluntary Service
* Meetings with EVS hosting, sending and coordinating organisations
* Meetings with EVS volunteers and mentors
* Project Management in EVS projects
* Human and structural support measures for EVS projects
Duration:
6 days (excluding arrival and departure)
 
Participants:
24 participants from 12 organisations (two participant per partner organization)
 
Partners:
“Youth in Action” Programme Countries (EU, Turkey, Norway, Lichtenstein) and Eastern European and Caucasian Countries
EECA: Russia, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Ukraine (two organisations each), Belarus, Moldova (one organisation each)
Programme: Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, UK, Poland, Belgium, Czech Republic, The Netherlands, Estonia, Sweden

The deadline for submitting both documents via email is 19th of January 2009. Additionally, please send the Part III in original until the 25th of January to the following address:
